BRANDS MANAGER

Our client, a manufacturing company has immediate employment for a self-motivated, experienced and talented BRANDS MANAGER to help with their operations.

ROLE PROFILE

The successful candidate will work closely with the marketing, advertising and sales departments to provide a sense of direction for their brand. He/ She would use marketing and industry expertise to set budgets for campaigns, organise promotional events for products and encourage brand uniformity across marketing initiatives.

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify target audiences and devise effective campaigns
  • Develop custom brand management plans for each product and submit updated summaries on brand exposure to management.
  • Assist in the design of retail packaging as well as the creation of in-store marketing displays.
  • Maintain contact with vendors and distributors to get critical input on how product design and implementation can be improved
  • Work closely with several advertising agencies to manage brand marketing campaigns
  • Organise events such as product launches and exhibitions to improve the market.
  • Carry out market research in order to keep up to date with customer trends, as well as try to predict future trends
  • Research and analyse consumer behaviour, market trends and competitor activity.
  • Establish budgets, performance specifications and sales estimates.
  • Develop and implement strategies that resonate with the target market.
  • Plan and execute marketing initiatives including campaigns, events, sponsorships and corporate social responsibility programs.
  • Build brand awareness and increase brand value and profitability.
  • Maintain the company’s public image through the implementation of marketing initiatives
  • Make decisions about the cost of branding and analyse trends in customer spending

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in brand management, marketing or relevant field.
  • 5 years experience working in a sales or marketing
  • The person needs to be an Extrovert and have an outgoing personality

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
  • Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and marketing best practices
  • Degree in marketing or a related field
  • Experience in Traditional and Digital Marketing
  • Customer Service Oriented
