Our client, a reputable company in the agriculture industry is looking for experienced persons to fill the role of a copywriter and to assist in the operations of the company.

ROLE PROFILE

The successful candidate will be responsible for exhibiting a wide array of creativity and the willingness to grow a brand. He or She will have the opportunity to express their skills by use of various social media tools and application of practical marketing principles in the market to share our products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop write-ups and design concepts for all marketing materials and platforms.
  • Develop and oversee marketing campaigns.
  • Develop marketing strategies internally as well as for clients.
  • Monitor the progress of campaigns using various metrics and submit reports of performance.
  • Conduct research and analyze data to identify audiences and further devise strategies to reach them.
  • Organize and oversee communication campaigns (social media, TV, etc.),
  • Create exhibitions and promotional events
  • Assist with the development of marketing materials such as brochures, press releases, billboard advertisements, etc.
  • Ensure that websites are always updated and employ various strategies for search engine optimization
  • Social media audit and analytics with reports and recommendations on ways to optimize the various platforms.
  • Engineer social media algorithms.
  • Strategic development and execution of a social media content calendar.
  • Content concept development for posting on social media.
  • Post and monitor Social Media pages.
  • Grow social media pages; likes, engagement, and followership, and deploy strategies to convert leads to sales.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing / Digital Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum, 3 years of experience in a Marketing / Digital Marketing role
  • Proficiency with computers and MS Office suite
  • Further education and experience may be preferred

REQUIREMENTS

  • Extraordinary ability in copywriting.
  • High interest in digital marketing and abreast with the relevant social media platforms for corporate brand positioning.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Practical experience in the development and implementation of marketing strategies.
  • Should live around the Volta Region and its surroundings.
  • Proven experience as a copywriter or related role
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Experience with SEO
  • Strong research skills and creativity
  • Should have a Collaborative spirit
  • Should have excellent time-management and organisational skills.
