DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL SALES MANAGER

Our client a consumer electronics manufacturer is seeking interested and qualified persons to assist with the operations of the company as a DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL SALES MANAGER.

 ROLE PROFILE

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share through various distribution channels. He or she will perform the following duties as well:

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence through distribution channels.
  • Identify and establish relationships with new distribution partners, including wholesalers, retailers, distributors, and dealerships.
  • Manage existing distribution channels and optimize performance by providing training, support, and incentives to partners.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and opportunities for growth within distribution channels.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns, product launches, and sales collateral tailored to distribution channels.
  • Monitor sales performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against goals and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Manage the national distribution team and ensure they achieve their monthly sales target.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure the effective distribution of our products or services.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years working experience in sales management, preferably in distribution channel sales within the Mobile Industry.

 REQUIREMENTS

  • Should have a strong understanding of distribution channel dynamics, including wholesaling, retailing, and dealer networks.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Must have an analytical mindset with proficiency in sales data analysis and reporting.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Should have leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
