HUMAN RESOURCE PERSONNEL

Our client in the security service industry has immediate employment for an experienced individual for the role of a HUMAN RESOURCE PERSONNEL to support the company’s operations.

ROLE PROFILE

The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective recruitment, onboarding, retention, deployment, and administration of all new hires, as well as meeting any temporary staffing requirements and ensuring that all employees /guards are properly trained and equipped to provide the highest standard of service required.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Update and advice members of staff on any matters concerned with employment terms/conditions, employment procedures and policies.
  • Develop and implement procedures in staff discipline, grievances, redundancy and all HR matters.
  • Review and implement HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment and HR policies and procedures.
  • Implement and manage the recruitment process by developing and executing best practices for hiring and talent management.
  • Responsible for all recruitment of staff and implement HR strategies that support recruitment needs by working with the Recruitment/Operations Manager.
  • Proactively work with the Head of Operations to ensure the effective performance management of staff, and guards and oversee the probationary process for new starters/recruits.
  • Coordinate and process monthly payroll in line with the Internal Auditor/Head of Accounts, to process monthly salaries and forward them to the Managing Director.
  • Supervise all team leaders and cross-check nominal rolls and advice from supervisors and operations before payments are made.
  • Submit monthly and quarterly reports to the Managing Director with regards to turnover, other related matters and incidents that may occur, as the supervisors and Head of Operations will submit for your review (This should include a chart stating the actual and current number of guards for both Accra, Tarkwa and other locations).
  • Advice department managers on all human resource issues, management of staff, mediation, employee relations and monitoring employee satisfaction levels (forward to the MD for approval).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years’ experience as Human Resource Personnel.
  • Professional certification in HR is an added advantage
