INFRASTRUCTURE AND DC MANAGER

Our client, a leading fintech company is looking for an experienced individual for the role of an Infrastructure & DC Manager with an international background and outstanding people skills to support the company’s operations.

ROLE PROFILE

The successful candidate will be responsible for Managing IT technologies and a group of technical IT Infrastructure personnel, developing and establishing IT infrastructure standards and procedures, and assigning work to the operations staff analysis, design, deployment, and operations of IT software and hardware systems supporting the business.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as SME in one or more of the following fields (VMware/Storage/Backup/Compute systems) and work closely with the IT management team and business units to ensure alignment with the company objectives.
  • Manage plans for project lifecycle deployment and define IT requirements.
  • Manage all requirements for controls, and IT Infrastructure environments according to regulatory compliance of PCI DSS v3.0, v3.1.
  • Approve and monitor major projects and IT budgets, prioritize standards, procedures, and overall IT infrastructure and team performance.
  • Coordinate priorities between the IT infrastructure department and user departments and review the adequacy and allocation of IT resources in terms of funding, personnel, equipment, and service levels.
  • Coordinate with departments and monitor all infrastructural facilities.
  • Maintain all issues related to system, network, and security which include plans for the disaster recovery and BC programs.
  • Manage overall capacity utilization of server/hardware environment, and ensure it is optimized to meet business requirements.
  • Supervise all service levels for production systems including campaign development, recording data, and knowledge transfer to faculty.
  • Coordinate with various departments to work together on business process requirements.
  • Monitor all critical matters and ensure compliance with guidelines to achieve all goals.
  • Maintain knowledge of all present infrastructural trends and implement all business objectives.
  • Monitor all IT systems and related instruments to enhance project growth.
  • Provide training to all faculty members.
  • Design and monitor the effective implementation of all global systems.
  • Ensure high availability of critical business systems hosted by the company
  • Manage staff members in their daily activities as well as support business project
  • Develop and manage relationships with vendors in support of staff augmentation and systems support
  • Manage overall capacity utilization of server/hardware environment to ensure it is optimized to meet business requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • Must have at least 6 years of IT experience.
  • ITIL Certification is preferred

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent command of the English language/Intermediate level.
  • Should have an understanding of QSA / CIS standards
  • Possess analytical & problem-solving skills with a high ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to plan, design and implement IT systems and solutions.
  • Knowledge and handworker of Microsoft, Cisco, and Security platforms and solutions
  • Ability to plan, design and implement data centers and failover solutions.
  • Proven knowledge of PCI DSS requirements.
  • Excellent knowledge of IT standards, procedures, policies, and best practices
  • Must be willing to travel to remote offices to understand current business unit and IT challenges in order to recommend solutions
  • Knowledge of virtualization, administration, setup and deployment, clustering, replications, backup/Recovery, monitoring, hardening, PKI, and terminal server/RDS
