SALES EXECUTION COORDINATOR

Our client, an international Shipping company is looking for experienced individuals to fill the role of SALES EXECUTION COORDINATOR to assist in the daily coordination of sales activities in accordance with the company’s objectives.

ROLE PROFILE:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating sales efforts to maximize both volume and contribution levels in the export and import trades throughout the year. He or she would perform the following duties such as:

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrate ability to manage and grow a portfolio of customers and opportunities.
  • Cover MR and Geo-From customers(push-pull) as defined in area sales steering concept.
  • Analyse and focus on medium and large accounts.
  • Deal directly with customers on scheduled appointments to develop, secure and maintain a profitable business.
  • Conduct review and MR plan on account performance as defined in Area Sales process.
  • Plan an account and derive an account strategy to develop customers and opportunities.
  • Coordinate and participate in tender requests from customers and handle tender feedback.
  • Participate in weekly coaching sessions with Sales Manager to review past sales activities and align activities for the future.
  • Approach customers through specified Sales channels (e.g., reefer, import).
  • Coordinate credit applications in coordination with Sales Management and Finance.
  • Supply feedback about market information to enable the company to review.
  • Ensure proper handover to sales coordination and work closely as a team.
  • Prepare visit plans and visit reports and insert them in CRM.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • University Degree in Business Administration/Marketing or a related study in a similar field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the maritime industry

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven knowledge of examining issues and problems effectively, generating possible solutions.
  • Must possess good communication skills to enable honest opinions to convey effective and convincingly information.
  • Should have the ability to adapt to the company’s business strategy.
  • Possess a strong positive attitude and team spirit.
  • Demonstrate the ability to build, maintain and develop partnerships with individuals and groups within the organisation.
  • Demonstrate the ability to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Should be able to lead a team to achieve goals.
  • Should be able to work well with others and follow guidelines.
  • Demonstrate the ability to convey information effectively and convincingly.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of user application systems (MS Office, Scout, Compass, FIS, SAM).
  • Shipping line experience is an advantage.
  • Good command of English and the ability to speak French is an advantage.
